Izakaya Sakura San Diego, California We were both craving Japanese Curry so we decided to go to one of our favorite Japanese Restaurants, Izakaya Sakura. The fish is always fresh and the curry is very flavorful. The staff members are great. There is a bit of a wait but they are always busy and you have to wait for delicious food. 1. My first meal after landing in San Diego from Boston Highly recommend the see eel tempura. It was so good that we placed a 2nd order Very happy with all the food - chicken thigh skewers, chicken meatballs, sukiyaki hot pot (for share), tongue stew, assorted sashimi, salmon skin hand roll and korokke Will for sure come back Free parking available at the parking lot outside
